GpaVora ("we", "us") is responsible for gpavora.com. This page describes the data we handle and the control you have over it. The summary: your course names, credits and grades never leave your device, because that is where the calculation runs.
What this policy applies to
GpaVora does one thing — as a GPA calculator it computes weighted and cumulative grade point averages on both the 4.0 and 5.0 scales from a course list. It multiplies each course grade by its credit weight, sums the products and divides by the total credits, which is why a heavily weighted course moves the average further than a light one. What follows concerns only that tool and the inputs involved in it.
In day-to-day use the tool works only from your course names, credits and grades, and it is usually opened for things like checking a term GPA before a transcript is issued. None of that reaches us, so none of it can be stored.
Your inputs
All processing happens on your device. Your input is handed to the page's own script, a result comes back, and that is the whole exchange. No request leaves your machine, and no copy of what you entered exists once the tab is closed.
How this policy changes
GpaVora revises this page whenever the way it handles data changes; the "last updated" line at the top always shows the current version.
What is collected automatically
Delivering a page necessarily produces some technical detail at the edge: an IP address, a browser string, the path requested and when. GpaVora uses that only to serve and protect the site. It is not stitched together with whatever you enter into the tool.
Cookies and advertising
The only cookie we set ourselves is a small preference flag for the consent notice. Advertising is served by third parties, and those partners may place their own cookies to tailor the ads you see. You can refuse or clear them in your browser without losing any functionality — the tool itself has no dependency on cookies.
Analytics and aggregate statistics
Usage statistics, when collected, are anonymous and aggregated. They tell us which pages are useful; they do not identify you and they never include your input to the calculator.
What you type stays local
The values you enter are used only to render the answer on the page. They are not sent anywhere, not stored after you leave, and not linked to you in any way.
Storage, security and how long things last
There is nothing of yours to keep, so there is no retention period to describe for calculator input: it exists only in your browser tab and disappears when you leave. The site is served over HTTPS throughout.
Children's privacy
Nothing here targets users under 13. If a child has sent personal details through the site, tell us and we will delete them.
The rights you have
Privacy law in some regions gives you the right to see, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data held about you. In practice we hold almost nothing tied to you, since calculator input never reaches us, but any request you make will be taken seriously.
