Grading scales differ
This calculator uses a standard 4.0 unweighted scale with +0.5 for honors and +1.0 for AP/IB courses. Real schools use many variations: some include A+, some cap weighted GPA at a different value, some don't offer weighted grades at all. Always compare against your own school's policy.
Trusting the results
Never submit a number from this site as your official GPA. For applications, transcripts or scholarships, rely on the GPA issued by your school's registrar or reporting system.
